Its unarguably that people are very anger with Desmond Elliott at the moment regarding his stance on the social media bill, even celebrities ain’t left out in this anger towards him. Iyabo Ojo took to her page to openly express her anger towards him (in a now deleted post) after which Laide Bakare who is also a celebrity came under her comment section to say ” E sha ni Suru hmmmm” which means you should calm down.

That singular comment got her under fire as people ensured they roasted her through their reply to her comment. They didn’t take it easy on her at all. See for yourself below..

I do understand that people are extremely angry at Desmond which is expected especially with what is going on in Nigeria right now but at the same time just as Iyabo expressed her opinion I believe everyone has a right to their opinion. That is why freedom of speech is a fundamental human right even though the consequences might not be palatable.

Honestly celebrities are trying as I don’t understand how they stomach such negative comments. Did she deserve the backlash? Let’s know your thought in the comment section.

  1. She knew her opinion is an unpopular opinion, so she should have kept it to herself. She needs to learn to thread carefully in situations like this to avoid such.

    1. She has every right to air her opinion whether people will agree with it or not. It doesn’t matter if it is an unpopular opinion. It is time people learn to toleration differences in Opinion.

  2. Should she have said that though knowing that peoples heart are boiling right now like hot water over this matter. Wisdom is important sometimes.
