Nigerian Bank GTB has just launched Fingerprint withdrawal at their ATM which is actually the first of its kind in the industry. According to the Email sent to their customers there is no longer any need to withdraw with your ATM card if you don’t want to , all you need is to select the option of using your fingerprint, input your registered phone number and amount to withdraw and you get your cash. Isn’t that amazing?
Now their customers can say good bye to the Era of ATM card withdrawal, no need to carry ATM around incase of emergency cash as all you need is your fingerprint. Personally I’d advice anyone using this service to ensure they sanitize their hands because you don’t know where the several fingers that have touched it has been.
Someone might just finish digging his nose with his finger and then use that say finger for Fingerprint so a lot of care has to be taken, including those who cover their hands with their mouth while coughing and then use same hands for Fingerprint, so ensure you rub some sanitizer on your hands before using to ensure you are safe.
