Keep your engagement ring a’sparkling by avoiding all of these…
#1 Put it down in an unlikely place
For example: putting it ‘on the side’ when you’re having a bath, or in the fruitbowl, or in a random compartment of your handbag… Have a designated place to store your ring.
#2 Cover it in handcream
If you can remember, take your ring off each time you apply handcream. This will avoid all the gunk and dried-up product getting caught in the grooves of the setting, as well as stop the lotion from ‘clouding’ the stone.
#3 Let someone else try it on
Some brides are superstitious about letting other people try on their rings – but from a more simplistic POV, it might get stuck on someone else’s finger. Like, for real.
#4 Wear it whilst cleaning…
