According to her, what led to her marriage breakdown have been happening for the 10 years of her marriage and she has reached the breaking point. Among the reasons she mentioned was infidelity, transmission of STI, lack of accountability, lack of love amongst others. She said she has given it her all and the current situation has affected her mental health and even given high PB.
She did a ten series video where she analysed all the issues that led to the breakdown. However, she has deleted the videos as a result of reaction videos from other YouTubers that have twisted the story and also the plea from her in-laws.
It is really a sad situation especially since they are in the UK where it is so difficult for only one person to pay bills and at the same time care for the children. The husband has decided he is going back to Nigeria and would leave her to cater for 3 children in UK.
The honest truth is that marriage is difficult and it takes a lot of work. What she has been through in her marriage is the reality of many women. Most men fail to understand the impact of infidelity in marriage or worse still bringing STD. Regardless of if the woman forgives, it always has a spiraling effect on the marriage.
The husband has said in an Instagram comment that he is going back to Nigeria to officially dissolve the marriage. The reality is that when the first marriage fails, even trying a second, third or more relationships hardly last after the first marriage. The best thing would have been for them to separate, this gives each person time to reevaluate the relationship and see how they could have acted better rather than dissolving the marriage in the heat of the moment.
If the man truly loves his children, he should move out of the house and look for a shared apartment which would cost around £300-£400 and then regularly visit the family rather than relocating back to Nigeria. It is heartless to leave the woman alone with 3 young children in UK.
This is definitely a difficult time for the family and we pray that God will lead them, calm their hearts during this storm, and help them make the right decision.
