Sometimes life doesn’t give us what we deserve or things may not go as planned, it’s easy to feel depressed, unhappy and sad, but is that the best way to go?
You might take a look at yourself and ask yourself why me? Why does it seems everything is going bad for me while other seems to be doing well at the slightest of effort. Why does it seems things don’t want to get better. You keep asking all the Why’s and yet no answer. What should you do?
Being sad and depressed about your situation or life conditions isn’t going to improve your life rather it can lead to health issues, makes you aggressive towards those around or make you stay away from people that care and love you.
When you are going through a hard time learn to be thankful as this will help you keep a positive attitude. Being thankful for where you are at the moment even though it may not be the best you want for yourself would help you in the long run.
Remember that there are people in worse condition than yours. No matter what you are going through, I want you to know that there are other people out there going through worst situations and so be thankful.
Being happy and cheerful attracts people and this can lead to unexpected opportunities but if you are always sad, depressed, unhappy, complains at every opportunity about your situation and is agressive towards people, this would make people keep away from you and you will end up compounding your problem.
Being thankful gives you hope, that even though things might not be the way you want them to be today but you know there is hope and that things will turn around someday.
You will also become a source of encouragement and hope to others when they see that you are thankful and do not allow your present situation to weigh you down.
Wallowing in self pity does not and will not do you any good rather be thankful and count your blessings instead of dwelling on things you couldn’t achieve or ought to have achieved.
Always keep a positive attitude regardless of what life throws at you. Be thankful, don’t despair. Be a source of encouragement to others, don’t wallow in self pity. Be cheerful and nice to people, stay around people don’t isolate yourself as you never know how and when the opportunity you desire will come!
