Nigerian Singer Dammy Krane Discharged and Acquitted By US Court

The Nigerian Singer Dammy Krane who was charged with credit card fraud months back (read here) has been discharged and acquitted by a US court. He was not found guilty of the nine count  fraud charge leveled against him . This is goodnews for the fans of the Krooner singer as social media was literally on fire when the news of his arrest broke out.  Ever since the news of him being  set free was released his fans have been angry that it did not go viral just as the news of his arrest went viral. See for yourself what they said;

The truth is that most news today are made viral by bloggers and don’t forget that most bloggers ain’t really interested in the story but are more interested in stories that will drive traffic to their blog, infact some go as far as using annoying and deceptive headlines as click bait, so it should not be surprising if much attention it’s not given to the story of his release. Secondly it is no news that bad story travel faster and make headlines more than goodnews, people are more curious, interested and aroused by bad news than goodnews. I am not making excuse for anyone but I believe this might be part of the reason the news about his release has not gone viral.

Meanwhile we rejoice with him and hope he moves past this and concentrate on his career at least he has disappointed many who thought he has met his Waterloo. He also has to be thankful that this happened in a society where there is good justice system otherwise he would have been condemned for no just cause. As sad as this may make him feel, this situation is also beneficial to him because now he would know who his true friends are, which he would not have known had this not happened. This is just part of life experience and as sad as it may be he has so many reasons to rejoice and move forward!
